Dr. Tyler Molstre is the Wellness Expert and  founder of True Life Chiropractic, a Family Wellness Center.  He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2004 from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, one of the premier Chiropractic colleges in the world.  Upon graduating from Palmer, Dr. Tyler moved to West Des Moines and opened True Life Chiropractic (TLC), where Dr. Tyler promotes wellness care for people who realize that true health is more than merely an absence of symptoms…it’s about function!  Dr. Tyler especially enjoys caring for children and mothers-to-be during their pregnancy.

Dr. Tyler is committed to empowering others to take care of themselves by learning how to live a wellness lifestyle.  A natural extension of this has been education, both for himself and his patients.  Dr. Tyler is an avid speaker in the Des Moines area, speaking on such topics as Wellness, Diet and Nutrition, Exercise, Managing Stress, Goal Setting and Healthy Thinking.  All of his patients are invited to attend these lectures, especially an extended health consultation, which is an introduction to healthy eating and living a wellness lifestyle.  Dr. Tyler always strives to be a resource for his patients.

Dr. Tyler utilizes the Gonstead Technique, which is a very thorough and specific technique that is both gentle and safe for people ranging from 1 minute old to 100 years old!  As a Wellness Chiropractor, he “practices what he preaches,” and he “lives the wellness lifestyle.”

Life itself is what led Dr. Tyler to Chiropractic.  When Dr. Tyler was younger, he lost his older sister, Shawna, to cancer. He was bound and determined to help sick people live better lives, and always assumed he would do so with medicine.  However, as his education continued, he learned about the human body and how it works, which led him to the realization that living a truly healthy life means preventing illness and disease, not treating it.  It was this conclusion that led him to Chiropractic.

“It’s really quite simple,” Says Dr. Tyler.  “The brain and nervous system control every function and every cell in your body.  If the nervous system is disrupted, you cannot be 100% healthy.  Your body cannot function properly if it doesn’t get the necessary instructions to do so.  Unfortunately, nervous system interruption goes undetected, much like diabetes, until you are tested for it.  The sooner you detect a nervous system disruption, the easier it is to correct and the sooner you can begin living a wellness lifestyle…a truly healthy life!”

On a personal level, Dr. Tyler loves being outdoors, spending time in nature and with God.  As an aspiring triathlete, Dr. Tyler works out regularly and loves reading and watching movies.
